On her way to Amarillo, Texas! The Fairy Wind is carrying her safely to her new home. She looks so peaceful. I just love her color. Which really doesn't show up here. It is a silky olive green with gold glitter....safe travels. The fairies just love mermaids. They are the Sea Fairies!

The wind is warm today, with a light mist and perfect Fairy Wind day! The dandelion seeds are flying about, making it hard to tell which are the seeds and which are the Fairies! Shenanigans are afoot I  know that....they always are when the Fairies come out to play. I should try to get a picture to show you. Hmmmmm.... I wonder if they will pose?

A Fairy Wind seems to be blowing through the house today. Bringing all types of ideas and projects. I spent 5 hours in the Fairy Wind Studio yesterday and will do the same today. I was able to do hands and feet for two wee Fairies but, only baked one. I want to check the second one today and see if she is happy with how hand pose. If she is then I will bake her.

All baked and ready for her outfit. Also need to decide how she wants her hair. I think "strawberry blond" would be a nice color. But we will see what she thinks

The Fairy Wind will be blowing through my studio this morning. I will be working up stairs most of the day. Yesterday I actually picked out the color of my new fairies hair. Strawberry blond. I will post photos soon. Fairy Wind Hugs!

Good Morning! It is beautiful here in Seldovia today. I am in the process of making a Facebook page for my Fairy Wind studio. Wow! I have so much to learn about internet work. I will put in a little more time and then go up to my studio to begin work on two fairies.

These two have been waiting a long time to be finished. I am excited to see what they choose to wear. Their personality comes out as they get their costuming, hair and shoes.

A Fairy Wind a new beginning

Hi everyone,
I am starting a new blog call A Fairy Wind. My name is Sandee and I am a artist who loves to make fairies.

I use polymer clay and just love the beautiful skin tones and effects you can get.

I will be posting my work "old and new" here. Feels a lot like starting over, life allows you to do that from time to time. Some times I think it "insists"!

In the next part of my blog I will introduce myself a little more. Right now I am just getting the fundamentals down for my blog....just starting. "one step at a time"
